The latest edition of BaoFeng's popular UV-82 radio features two separate PTT buttons for each VFO, a redesigned antenna for more efficient signal modulation, and a 2800 mAh battery with fast charging via USB-C port.
The radio operates in dual-band mode, with a maximum power of 5 W, on the frequencies 144-146 MHz (RX) and 430-440 MHz (TX). In favourable weather conditions and with theoretical line of sight, it can achieve a communication range of several kilometres. It also has many useful features, including:
